Terms and Conditions

  1. Warranty Coverage

Jim’s Roofing (“the Company”) is committed to providing roofing services and materials. We take pride in our workmanship and stand behind our products. This Warranty Policy (“the Warranty”) outlines the terms and conditions of our 10-year warranty coverage for roofing services provided by Jim’s Roofing.

  1. Warranty Period

The warranty coverage begins on the date of completion of the roofing project and continues for a period of 10 years (“the Warranty Period”).

  1. Warranty Benefits

During the Warranty Period, Jim’s Roofing will repair or replace, at our discretion, any defects in materials or workmanship that arise as a direct result of our roofing services, without charge to the customer. This includes, but is not limited to, leaks, structural issues, or other roofing-related problems.

  1. Warranty Conditions and Limitations

In order to maintain eligibility for warranty coverage, the following conditions and limitations apply:

4.1 Proper Maintenance

The customer is responsible for performing regular maintenance on the roof, including but not limited to, cleaning debris, ensuring proper drainage, and addressing any necessary repairs in a timely manner.

4.2 Inspection

The customer is responsible for scheduling and paying for an annual roof inspection by a licensed and qualified roofing professional. Failure to do so may void the warranty, we recommend calling Jim’s Roofing for a year check and clean.

4.3 Unauthorized Repairs

Any repairs or modifications performed on the roof by anyone other than authorized representatives of Jim’s Roofing will void the warranty.

4.4 Warranty Transfer

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who contracted Jim’s Roofing for the roofing services.

4.5 Acts of Nature

The warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, severe weather events, or acts of God, including but not limited to, hailstorms, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, or floods.

4.6 Other Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by neglect, accidents, abuse, vandalism, improper installation or maintenance of rooftop equipment (e.g., HVAC units), or any other non-roofing-related factors, as outlined in Australian roofing standards.

  1. Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must notify Jim’s Roofing in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue. The customer must provide proof of annual roof inspections as outlined in section 4.2.

  1. Resolution of Warranty Claims

Upon receipt of a valid warranty claim, Jim’s Roofing will inspect the roof to determine the cause and extent of the issue. If it is determined that the issue is covered under this warranty, Jim’s Roofing will undertake repairs or replacement as necessary, at no cost to the customer.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The customer understands and agrees that the remedies provided in this Warranty are the exclusive remedies for any breach of warranty. Jim’s Roofing’s liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of repairs or replacement of the defective roofing materials or workmanship.

  1. Entire Agreement

This Warranty represents the entire agreement between the customer and Jim’s Roofing regarding roofing services, warranty coverage and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.

  1. Changes to Warranty Policy

Jim’s Roofing reserves the right to modify or amend this Warranty Policy at any time, with or without notice.

By contracting Jim’s Roofing for roofing services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this 10-Year Warranty Policy.
